ELLINIKI ETAIRIA – Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage and the Paths of Culture Programme invite you to welcome the month of May, enjoying the very many greek footpaths, on Thursday, 1st May 2014:
• walk with your friends and family the paths in your area,
• organise an event of your choice: a walk, a clean-up, wreath-making, anything that strikes your fancy!
• share your day with us, sending us by early afternoon your photos or short videos at sepi@ellinikietairia.gr , to be forwarded to our communications sponsors and posted on the social media.
The biggest wreath for the Tower of Oinoi, in Marathon!
The residents of Attica can join us at the Marathon paths, where at 11:30 a.m., at the start of Path 4 next to the Tower of Oinoi – in cooperation with the Municipality of Marathon and the local schools – we will make the biggest wreath for the Tower of Oinoi! Next, Niki Kapari, will recite a story for children of all ages, inspired by the Tower and the path in the Oinoi gorge, to the music of Yiannis Psimadas.
In Aegina – in cooperation with our Local Committee, the Association of Active Citizens (Syllogos Energon Politon Aeginas) and the ANAVASI/ Greek Cycling and Hiking Association of Aegina (Syllogos ANAVASI), hikers will enjoy a special pic nic in the ancient Olive Grove (Eleonas). More events will take place in the whole of Greece!
