Discover a secret Aegina! We’ re inaugurating the Paths of Culture, 9 hiking and cycling routes, to help you experience the natural environment and the unique history of this magical island!
Join us on Sunday, 15 November 2015 for a celebration – complete with hiking and traditional music in the Ancient Olive Grove – just a couple of hours away from Athens!
PROGRAMME
11:00 Inauguration ceremony – at the Greek Paths of Culture Project Sign, Aegina Port.
11:15 Buses departing for Pachia Rachi.
12:00 Hike start – Pachia Rachi, at the village entrance / parking area (Paths 3 & 4)
13:00 Celebration at Elaionas (Ancient Olive Grove), with traditional music by the Aegina Estudiantina.
14:30 Hike to Marathonas beach.
Don’t forget to take some water and a light snack with you!
Buses / taxis will be available to take you to Pachia Rachi Starting Point.
